The main staircase that connects the first and second floors – MoMA, NYC

ACTION

Participating individuals will maneuver up and down the stairs using a prescribed series of instructions.  Each set of instructions will take no more than 10 minutes to complete, requires no strenuous motion and will occur at the following intervals - 8:15pm, 8:45pm, 9:30pm, 10:15pm, 10:45pm and 11pm.  Participants are encouraged to create personal documentation (via smartphone), which can be sent to staircase.study@gmail.com

Volunteers will receive a limited edition silkscreen poster signed and numbered by both artists 

(delivery by January 31^st, 2013). 

ON-SITE PERFORMANCE HOURS ARE 5:15PM – 11:15PM ON SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 10^TH AT 11 WEST 53RD STREET, NEW YORK CITY. 

Note: Please enter at the Film Lobby entrance, which is located two doors east of the Museum's main entrance 

(entrance says MoMA Film and there's a sizable silver grand-piano-like awning above the entrance).
