Te-Erika Patterson, the publisher of My Savvy Sisters.Com, a website dedicated to providing resources, information and inspiration to empower women, announces the website's first massive outreach to women- The Rebuild Your Life Project.
"On April 11, 2011, I will give away all of my personal belongings and live on the streets in the city of Hollywood, Florida as a homeless person to accomplish the following objectives:
1) Demystify the homeless experience.
2) Raise awareness of the homeless lifestyle by documenting my journey on video and in writing on my website.
3) Teach women through our website that even if they are faced with their biggest fear of homelessness or an extreme life transition they can rebuild and prosper.
4) Showcase specific strategies for rebuilding your life.

6) To organize a job fair for homeless women in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties that will have at least 30 businesses participate.
7) Raise funds to continue to support the development of this resource website, our efforts and a homeless shelter in my community."

Patterson has partnered with The Homeless Voice Shelter, located at 1203 N. Federal Highway in Hollywood, FL for this project. Sean Cononie, the owner of The Homeless Voice Shelter supports this endeavor.
The Miami-Dade and Broward county business communities are being asked to participate in a job fair specifically for homeless women that will take place in early May. Patterson has pledged to be homeless until 30 businesses have signed on and agreed to give homeless women a chance to be interviewed and considered for employment.
"While I am living in the streets I plan to teach strategic lessons for rebuilding your life and developing the attitude for success," Patterson explained. "Many women fear the thought of losing everything and never make a move toward their dreams because of this fear. I hope to teach women that the things they own do not define them and how their biggest fear of an extreme life transition, if it ever happens, could be a blessing that sets them free."
