While most of my (blogging) energies have been focused on THE INFLATABLE MATTRESS project, I'm continuing the development of other explorations as well. I am learning that one of the most rewarding creative experiences is effective collaboration. Becca Albee and I investigated 'conversation with a culmination in celebration', serving as a worthwhile introduction into this practice. I now am inspired by the collaborative energy of another photo-based artist, Sara Hart, with an ongoing project called Improvisational Documentation. Utilizing elements of performance and photography, we create environments that serve as an abstracted history of actual events.
