A few weeks ago I had a most engaging studio visit with Sarah Walko. We have since continued a correspondence and she has sent some worthwhile food for thought. In an effort to expand my notion of the exhibition space, she suggested following the footsteps of David Ellis, and attempt a collaborative partnership with Theory. I've investigated this particular project , as well as his other work, and I thought to store my findings here. I connect fully with David's reverence for music and rhythm, as I am working to make this universal language more central to my art-making. To be sure, I've been thinking about this particular connection, but it's reassuring to have someone cosign to those musings...
