Afrofuturism, as defined by Sun-Ra and George Clinton, was enormously influenced by the cultural motifs of of ancient Egypt. I've asked Egyptian artist Basem Hassan to comment on the same 3* questions I posed to Cornrow Rider. As a non-black African-American, I think his responses are a telling commentary. What do you think?
