I spent the weekend catching up on loads of sleep and enjoying the wonder that is reality TV. I don't have much to report, in terms of my studio practice, but I do want to take a moment to share my inventory of positives. Perhaps you will find something inspiring in my list.
- A wonderful friend and colleague (Rashaad Newsome) will be experiencing his first solo show in NYC. I get to support him.
- I connected with a middle school girlfriend on FaceBook, and found out that she became the smart, successful, independent, nurturing person that I always knew her to be.
- I completed the first draft of my Curriculum/Materials Listing for the enrichment course that I am teaching at Brownsville Collegiate Prep.
- The research for my Afro-Futurism blog (on EYEBEAM's ReBlog) is going well... Thanks Paul
- One time for Michael Paul Britto's pasta + turkey sauce!
- And another one for American Apparel's Hooded Fleece Cape!
- This week's WorkSpace Salon is a meet and greet with past residents. I am anticipating a great time.
- I am thankful for borrowed digital cameras.
- and operatic sopranos (See you soon Ms. Warfield)
- and...
